Come over and enjoy a good ole fashoined backyard BBQ. We'll be

Empire
Kosher chicken. Please plan on bringing something to share, such as
a salad,
a side dish, or something for the grill. (If you do plan on bringing
meat, please
make sure it's kosher.) Hope you'll join us to celebrate the end of
summer!

3.
Havdalah Potluck at Leadbetter Beach
Saturday, July 10 at 6pm
Leadbetter Beach, downtown Santa Barbara
Please join us for a potluck dinner at Leadbetter's picnic area,
followed by the
Havdalah service. This will be an enjoyable evening, filled with
food, friendship
and spirituality. Rabbi Zev Schwarz will be joining us for this
event and will
lead in Havdalah, the short service that marks the end of Shabbat.
This event
is always a crowd pleaser, as it allows us locals to enjoy the
beautiful Santa
Barbara beachfront. Feel free to bring a Frisbee, volleyball, or
anything you enjoy
doing at the beach, along with your vegetarian potluck dish. And be
sure to
bring a blanket or jacket for later on, as it does get chilly after
the sun sets.
To find us at the beach, look for the blue and white balloons.
Please let us
know if you will be joining us (so we can make sure to have enough
food!)
RSVP to Becca at 681-1334 or becca@beccalicha.com by Friday, July 9.
