Blessings Workshop at Laurie Gross Studio

Renowned artist Laurie Gross shared her time, talents, materials, and her huge studio with the Connection for an evening of creation of spiritual art form. From her original idea, pocket blessings and blessing banners, Laurie and fellow art protégé Becca showed us how to develop and create our very own blessing banners. It was a totally cool and amazing experience. The rest of the time Laurie's studio is creating magnificent tapestries for arks in synagogues on several huge looms in her studio, as well as other major Judaica works in myriad materials like glass, cloth, and tile.  The studio walls are covered in awards for her works.
